All providers are Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certified and follow sedation guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
What are the benefits of Memory-Free Dentistry?
Amnesia - Reduced memory of dental visit and improved dental experience.
Avoid Future Emergencies - The removal of decay will help reduce the risk of hospitalization due to dental infections in the future.
Treatment in Local Dental Office - As opposed to hospitalization.
Fewer Appointments - More treatment may be completed in one visit (on a case-by-case basis).
What are my other options and alternatives?
Hospitalization - Referral - General anesthesia.
Protective Stabilization - Not an option for every patient.
No Treatment - Untreated decay may lead to pain, swelling, infection, and tooth loss.
Is it like hospital general anesthesia?
No, this is an alternative to hospital general anesthesia, the patient is still awake. Instead of an IV needle inserted, the patient takes a dose of medicine orally at the dental office.
How long will the appointment last?
